It’s about time
I realized that I’m pretty bad with personal deadlines lately.
Case in point: there’s this email that I was supposed to send even before the new year rolled by but I only got to send it this week. This was a bit personal so there was a lot of stuff that I had to discern before I even sent it out, and I guess it was pretty delicate in terms of content…but still, more than a month before I finally crossed it out on my to-do list. How about thaht?
Second example: book 2. I don’t think I need to explain that anymore.
But sometime during the start of January, I enrolled in Arriane Serafico‘s Goal Setting Guide for Creatives, partly because I told myself that I wanted to take some fun classes (outside of my marketing ones) to upskill myself, and partly because I was swayed by the testimonials of the people who joined Arriane’s previous runs. So I joined, worked on being honest with myself and the goals that I want to pursue…and after getting the feedback for my worksheets I decided to quit delaying this part and finally open this site.
I had vague plans of opening this site by March, around my birthday, while book # 2 is in editing stage. I mean, it sounds better launching this when I have the new book ready to go out soon, right? But that’s just it — that’s simply delaying things (and also, creating more work for me later in book # 2’s publishing process). Why can’t I open it now? Why can’t I use the space to share book # 2’s struggles and victories and all that, so other people can be in on it? And you know, get to know me as an author, too?
So, here. Hi, I’m Ana. Welcome to my official* website!
* Wow, it’s been so long since I last wrote “official” on something 😀
So as a tiny preview/treat of my the blog’s first day — somewhere in the first chapter of book # 2:
He blinked again, and I tried not to stare into those eyes. It was pretty distracting, those wide, doe-like eyes. Pretty and distracting.
